After three years of preparation and a multi-million-dollar investment, the legendary French chef Jean-François Piège, a star in the middle generation of French culinary masters, has officially opened his first overseas restaurant, "CLOVER BELLAVITA by Jean-François Piège." The restaurant spans 187 ping (approx. 617 square meters) and features 100 seats, including a large Chef Room private dining area for 16 people and two medium-sized private rooms for 10 and 8 people respectively. The restaurant operates during lunch from 12:00 to 14:30 and dinner from 18:00 to 21:30. Prices start from NT$2,580 for lunch and range from NT$3,280 to NT$5,980 for dinner (excluding service charge). In the initial phase of operation, the restaurant offers set menus and will gradually introduce à la carte options to provide a wider variety of dining experiences.

Jean-François Piège is a prominent figure in contemporary French cuisine. With his sharp eye and refined taste, he won a Michelin 3-star rating at just 31 years old for the restaurant at Hôtel Plaza-Athénée, under the guidance of the legendary chef Alain Ducasse. At the age of 35, he took over the Les Ambassadeurs restaurant at Hôtel Crillon in Paris, earning two Michelin stars. That same year, he was named "Chef of the Year" by the Pudlo Guide and the Guide Champérard, France's culinary guides. He also received the prestigious title of "Chef of the Year" in 2007 from the influential Gault & Millau guide. His restaurant, Le Grand Restaurant, has been praised by food critics and received Michelin two stars, further cementing his reputation as one of the leading chefs in modern French cuisine.

Piège has visited Taiwan multiple times due to his work but his connection to Taiwan goes beyond that. During a visit to France by the founder of BELLAVITA, they dined at Piège's restaurant, where the creativity and techniques were truly awe-inspiring. This experience led to the decision to invite Piège to open his first overseas restaurant in Taiwan. Taiwan's diverse food culture and abundant ingredients gave Piège confidence that he could showcase the pure flavors of ingredients, which he focuses on in the CLOVER series. This venture brings a fresh, exciting experience to Taiwan's fine dining scene, sparking new creative ideas!
